This was the first time I had engaged in coaching and it was a very positive and reflective experience. Your style is containing and exploratory; I felt at ease and able to open up about difficult areas. I have been able to consider a number of aspects of my journey and identity, and how this impacts on my leadership and management style. In particular, I valued the fact that you had experience in mental healthcare and you were able to see the context and interpret for me, elements of the culture and politics of such organisations. I appreciate this was just a start, and I do intend to continue to utilise coaching as a means to provide space to reflect and develop further .
